Located on the Strip, the Paris Las Vegas Hotel captures the ambiance of the City of Light, which owes this name due to its fame as a center of education and ideas during the Age of Enlightenment. The Paris Hotel rises 34 stories in a four-wing tower fashioned after the Hotel de Ville in Paris, France. A view of the Paris Hotel from the Bellagio Hotel and Casino.
The Paris Las Vegas Hotel sign in the shape of a Montgolfier balloon welcomes hotel guests. The Montgolfier brothers, inventors of the Montgolfier-style hot air balloon, launched the first manned balloon into the sky.

One of the most dominating structures on the Las Vegas Strip has to be the Eiffel Tower half-replica that is the centerpiece of the Paris Las Vegas Hotel. The Eiffel Tower is located between the replica of the Louvre Museum to the left and the replica of the Paris Opera House to the right.
The real Eiffel Tower in Paris, France was completed in 1889 and named after Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower. Originally erected as part of the 1889 World’s Fair, it became a cultural icon and a recognizable feature of the Paris skyline that it remained after the end of the fair. Here is the real glowing Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.
We booked a hotel in Paris close to the Eiffel Tower, so we were able to visit this admirable structure a couple times per day.
Of course, we purchased the admission tickets and took an elevator to both of the observation decks of Eiffel Tower. Here is the very bottom of the Tower.
An incredible view from the top.
Near the Eiffel Tower restautant on the second floor.
We managed the stairs down from the second floor of the Tower. 🙂
And we took a few more pictures next to the Eiffel Tower.
The Eiffel Tower has a powerful influence on the people. It is like you cannot leave it alone or see it enough. There are some little parks near the Tower, so we always had a chance to sit down and rest between the runs of our busy schedule.
Back to the Paris Las Vegas Hotel. There is a huge casino inside the Paris Hotel, which is the usual in Vegas. The casino’s ceiling imitates a blue sky with light clouds. The observation deck is 46 stories above the Las Vegas Strip. The tower’s foot print is so large that three of its four gigantic legs sits on the casino floor inside the hotel.
The replica of the Pont Alexandre III bridge crosses over the Paris Las Vegas Casino floor, which is probably missed by most visitors as they make their way through the casino. If not for Dave, I wouldn’t have noticed it either.
This is how the Pont Alexandre III bridge (a part of it) looks from the Seine River cruise.
The Pont Alexandre III bridge in Paris crosses the Seine river and is regarded as one of the most ornately constructed bridges in the city. Built between 1896 and 1900, it is named after Tsar Alexander III who was instrumental in a military alliance between Russia and France. The bridge is noted for its Art Nouveau lamps, cherubs and nymphs. The bridge has made key appearances in the final scene of the Woody Allen’s film “Midnight In Paris” and singer Adele’s music video for her song “Someone Like You.”
Dave and I really like segway tours. It is a fun way to get acquainted with a city.
Being in Paris, it is impossible not to see the Eiffel Tower, since you can see it from everywhere. Some views of the Eiffel Tower during our Sunset Seine River Cruise.
I was taking a picture under the bridge and caught Dave’s reflection in the Boat window on the camera. Interesting shot…
One of the majestic features of the Paris Las Vegas Hotel is the two-thirds replica of the Arc de Triomphe. Even at two-thirds, the construction of the replica monument looks massive. Four main sculptures, two on each wide facade of the Arch, represent important moments of the French Revolution. The constant movement of cars at the hotel give the impression of a real roundabout around the replica Arc de Triomphe.
The real Arc de Triomphe in Paris was completed in 1836 and stands 164 feet high. The monument honors those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. The names of all French victories and generals are inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. Beneath the vault lies the Tomb of the Uknown Soldier from World War I.
The famous Avenue des Champs-Élysées runs through the Arc de Triomphe.
A view of Arch de Triomphe from the Tuileries Garden in France. In conclusion, I think that everyone should visit the City of Light – Paris and Fabulous Las Vegas at least once in their life. It was an unforgettable experience for me.
