We finally found the time to see Thor: The Dark World 3D. I have to admit, we only go to a movie theater a few times a year. I enjoy the IMAX experience at Hoffman, usually try and get there for a matinee, because it is not as much of a hassle at that time. We visit this theater the most and we really like it. The theater is modern, spacious (22 movie theaters inside) and comfortable. Especially, I love IMAX movies.
We were pleasantly surprised that now we were able to buy the tickets right from 6 ticket kiosks, avoiding the usual lines at the box office. This place is Metro accessible and has comfortable seats with a lot of leg room, pull up arms and cup holders. Theaters are clean with first and second level entrants and extra big screens. There is free parking available, and good to great restaurants are within a walking distance.
A view down from the second floor.

After the movie we stopped at Johnny Rockets. It is a fast food kind of restaurant, but burgers and milkshakes are very good there. Johnny Rockets is an American restaurant franchise whose concept is to create a classic American restaurant atmosphere. The theme is the diner-style restaurant that had become a common sight by the 1950s. Each table has a small jukebox that will play oldies for 5 cents.
Decor includes Coca-Cola advertising featuring nearly life-size cardboard illustrations of women in World War II armed services uniforms, individual jukebox stations, chrome accents and red vinyl seats.
Johnny Rockets, a nation-wide, 50s-themed food chain in the United States, strives to provide the service and food that are always 100%-authentically “50s”. You won’t find any of the PC-era “diet” or “low-fat” food. So whether you fancy a burger, onion rings or a milkshake, Johnny Rockets has it for you, it is the home of “the original hamburger” after all!
